The King Faisal Specialist Hospital - Jeddah (KFSH-J) is one of the three campuses of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre.

This 250 bed facility was originally built as a private hospital in the 1990s; however, it was purchased by the Saudi government, and began offering services in March 2000. The KFSH-J offers 24-hour emergency care, short stay surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, neurosciences, medical oncology, and cardiovascular services. The KFSH-J holds Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCI) status.

The KFSH-J is located in downtown Jeddah, a city of approximately 3 million, situated along the Red Sea. Cosmopolitan Jeddah has a beautiful "Old City" with buildings of historical interest, as well as modern shopping facilities, international cuisine, and a great variety of artwork. The Red Sea is especially interesting for scuba divers, and has, reportedly, the best coral reefs in the world. Also popular is taking long evening walks along the Red Sea boardwalk – The Corniche – where the lights of the city and of anchored ships illuminate the night.

Staff housing is found on several compounds throughout Jeddah, ranging from five to 40 minutes from the hospital. Shuttle bus services are provided free of charge by the hospital. The majority of housing compounds have pools, while staff living on compounds that don't have pools, can use them at other staff compounds.

The hospital will be undergoing an expansion that will bring it up to approximately 850 beds over the next three to four years, positioning itself as the largest referral centre in the western region.
